Come and See What I've Been Making!

EDITED TO ADD: I have gotten over 10 etsy conversations asking me the same question, so I wanted to clarify here. The spool ornaments are NOT $20 each, they are $20 for the set of 3. Sorry for the confusion.

Also, I've gotten several emails asking me if I was selling the work aprons in the Etsy shop. Technically the answer is no. I will be putting those in my actual online shop. HOWEVER, I have 24 of them left before I get a new order from the factory, so I'm going to offer them for sale in the Etsy shop until they are gone. Currently I only have one fabric combination completed.

Here are the specifics. When you go to the Etsy shop, you'll see a "Reserved for Bloggers" listing. That would be the one you would purchase. I put multiple quantities in so that it would stay up.

The apron is $55 regular, but I am offering it to you for $48, and I have the shiping set at FREE.
You can buy it here.

Here is the apron:

Here are the features:
There is a snap-on/removable washable cloth.
The center is scooped at the bottom so that the apron does not shift while you work, sit, or climb.
The waistband is adjustable and snaps together for better stability.
There are 4 pockets, 2 large, 2 small.
There is a scissor loop, 3 loops on the opposite side to hold smaller things. (I use mine for tweezers and chalk markers.)
There is a double loop at the bottom to hold a small hammer and a tape measure.
*The picture shows an external loop on the side where the cloth is. I've removed that because the focus testers said it interferes with the scissors.
The pockets and the apron base are all lined for stability.
The waistband is slightly scooped at the top so that it fits a woman's hips better.

These are so comfortable that, even with the pockets filled, you forget you're wearing them.
I hope you'll pick one up for yourself!!

So lately I've been in a very creative mood.............I'm sure it has nothing to do with the exhiliration I'm experiencing since becoming a STAW (stay at home worker)! I've become reacquainted with my workroom where all my little goodies were just laying in wait for my return. I've been beefing up the Etsy shop since I still can't seem to get my store open, and wanted to share all the treats I've been stocking it up with.

I got in a tray making mood for a few days, and still have 8 more one the table waiting to be finished.. Induldge me for a few minutes while I put on a MakeMineBeautiful trunk show for your viewing pleasure (I hope!).

*Everything is for sale in my Etsy shop, so if you see something you just have to have, go to the right sidebar and click on "practicalfunthings.etsy.com. Anything in the shop would also make a great gift for the holidays.
**I'm offering FREE shipping to any of you who purchases from my store. Go thru the checkout process, and when it asks you to enter instructions for the seller, put "BLOG", and then I'll know to refund your shiping charges.

Here goes: (Since these are self-explanatory, I'm just going to show you the pictures.)
You can go to my esty shop to see more detail pictures.

There you have it. I hope you enjoyed it. This is how I plan on making my living for a while, so please spread the word if you know someone who would enjoy the types of things I have in my shop.:) I don't want to have to hear any "I told you so" on the homefront cuz I really don't like crow..........not even smothered in butter.............

  6. Just lovely. You really are a talented lady. I love your trays, especially the silver one with keys and a heart. Do you paint too? You're sewing projects are so great. I am a sewer and crafter, but mainly sewing these days. I pray you do well as a stay at home worker. I am also one, and it seems to be either feast or famine. But I wouldn't want to do anything else. I sure don't want you to have to eat crow either.
